This is a handsome and unique
Parade Saddle.
Made for Ernie Worthington who
is shown in the photo on his favorite Palomino, this
Saddle was custom made by "EMBEE"
out of MO.
As you can see by the photos a
great deal of care was taken in the carved leather.
The silver pieces are acid
etched with a flower design. Complementary of the Ted Flowers
design which was popular with
many Parade Saddle Makers in those days.
Ernie purchased this saddle
about 25 years ago and it has only been on his horse a few times.
You can see that it hasn't
gotten much use. There are a few unique innovations on this
saddle like the corona pad being attached to the saddle with heavy
duty snaps. This keeps the pad from moving or
shifting. Also check out the plaited saddle strings!
This Saddle is complete with:
Front and Rear cinch, Bridle with plated reins, Breast Collar,
Tapaderos, and Serapes.
