Parade Saddle by Bruce Lovins. This
model is known as: "The Parader"
Using a Square design that has four small-engraved squares in each spot.
(see photo).
The Cantle, horn and swells are encased and hand engraved. The leather
is carved with a floral pattern. Specs, are approximate: Skirts 14 X
30 inches, Seat 15 inch.
Saddle leather is black and the carving is like new. Crisp and deep.
Black padded seat. All silver pieces are perfect, no damage on this
saddle.
This set comes with: Saddle, Breast collar, taps, Headstall with matching
reins and serapes.
Not many Bruce Lovins saddles are available in this great a shape.
A rare find and good investment for the person that wants to show a
horse, ride in a parade or decorate their home or office.
History: From the personal collection of Western Performer Mark Allen.
Mark rode in the Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena California from 1989 to
1993 where he became a fan of Ted Flowers and Bruce Lovins Parade
Saddles. This saddle has been in his collection for many years. It
shows very little use.
