Ted Flowers
Silver Parade saddle Courtesy of Scott Thomas

Ted Flowers Brown Bicentennial Parade saddle.  This is Scott Thomas's mare Doc Olena Sparkles aka "Lena"; a double registered Paint /Quarter Horse.  She is modeling another one of the great saddles from Scott's collection. This saddle is a rare "brown" or "tan" as it was called in the catalog. Ted Flowers set. Brown sets are hard to come by-- and this one has some really unique features. If you look closely you will notice that this saddle has 1776 - 1976 stamped into both the fenders and the jockeys. He tells me that he has two sets of tapaderos for this saddle the ones shown and the Bohlin like ones with less silver. He also shows the breast collar and a less often seen martingale in these photos. Obviously whomever had this saddle made wanted all the options! Thanks to Scott and Lena for sharing the photos of this saddle! . (There are 3 photos in this gallery use the arrows to scroll over and see more pictures)
