Courtesy of Luke
Ted Flowers Parade Chief Silver Parade
saddle with 3D Indian Heads. This
saddle was recently listed on Ebay. I emailed Luke the owner and asked
him if we could use his photos here in the Archive. He was kind enough to
share them with us. This saddle is unusual for a few reasons. Though it is
difficult to see well in the photos this saddle has the realistic Indian
Heads that resemble those made by Comstock Silver-- these were most often
seen on Keyston Parade saddles. These Indian Heads appear to be german
silver though due to their gold tone. It also has an unusual silver cup
covering the crupper. Finally it also has the tie down piece on the
breastcollar. There are 10 photos
